Sunday Worship - 10:30 AM
 |
We hold regular weekly Sunday services at our sanctuary located at 240 Pitts
School Rd NW in Concord, NC.
(Click HERE for map) All are welcome to join us for Worship and
Praise! Come-as-you-are, and get to know our 'Family of Faith!'
Our service combines elements of the Lutheran Book of Worship (Green
Book) along with liturgy included from the With One Voice supplement and
other prayers and music. The service is printed in the bulletin in its
entirety each Sunday.
|
| Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday as a
reminder of Christ's sacrifice for us, and as a meal to bind us one to another
in His work. |
 |
 |
A Children's Sermon is part of each Sunday's service incorporating
simple lessons based on the Scripture readings for the day.
|
Sunday School - 9:30 AM
Sunday school is held for all ages beginning at 9:30 am. Children's
Sunday School classes make learning about the Bible and our Christian faith
fun! Classes are available for pre-school children as well as
school-age children.
For Adults, class is held in the Chapel area. A variety of spiritual
and Biblical concepts and topics are covered in a casual, discussion based
curriculum. |

Special Worship
Special Worship services are held during Holy Week and Christmas Eve, as well
as other times throughout the year. We also have special programs from
time to time. See our Events Calendar for the
current schedule of what is happening in our congregation!
Our History
Family of Faith was organized in December of 1983 with Ronald E. Teed as
Mission Pastor. St. Andrews Evangelical Lutheran Church of Concord became
a part of Family of Faith, bringing 114 charter members. Worship services
were held at Wolf Meadow Elementary until completion of the new Center for
Worship and Ministry located on Pitt's School Rd in Concord. Groundbreaking was held July 15, 1984 with the first
service held in the new building on February 24, 1985.
