Family Promise of Cabarrus County is a local affiliate of the National Interfaith Hospitality Network, serving Cabarrus and Southern Rowan Counties in North Carolina. We are comprised of a network of fourteen places of worship who will coordinate an environment that provides homeless families the opportunity to maintain a family unit and work toward independence. With the help of volunteers and houses of worship, we provide fourteen people a place to feel safe, access to phones, social services, job counseling, nutritious meals, and a safe place to sleep. Family of Faith participates as a support church.

Threads of Love: ‘Threads of Love’ is a sewing ministry that provides hand-crafted items to premature newborns. The local Charlotte Chapter meets at Family of Faith Lutheran Church.

Habitat Cabarrus is a Christian non-profit housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in Cabarrus County, North Carolina through advocacy, training, support and construction of safe, decent and affordable housing. Family of Faith participates in the “Thrivent Builds” and “Building on Faith” programs by providing volunteer teams on specific weekends during the year

The Bradley Method provides natural childbirth classes that are taught by an independent Bradley Method instructor. Classes are held at Family of Faith Lutheran throughout the year (12 week program).

ELCA World Hunger is a connected, comprehensive, and compassionate program that helps individuals and communities lift themselves out of poverty into self-sufficiency. Family of Faith Lutheran Church participates in the ELCA World Hunger Appeal through our annual donation drives.
